I bought this ikea lamp at a garage sale for $1 and transformed it's pale white plain-ness into a colorful fiesta of buttons.
Glue + Buttons + Boring Lampshade + Time + Paint (for stand if bought in an ugly shade of gold).
It took me about 2 hours total (a half hour per side) to glue all of the buttons on
because I am perfectionistic like that & spent a lot of time staring at individual buttons
pondering where their perfect home should be.
By the last side I got real sick of buttons and pattern, which is why that side will be facing the wall for the rest of it's life.
Lastly, I painted the stand gray because gold and buttons on this particular lamp just didn't appeal to me.
