a bible verse a week

//ring from my valentine with our initials from here//
hello there. long time no post. that's because i have been busy busy with my internship learning the art of tax preparation and boy what an art it is. it's go go go until April 15th for this girl, yay uncle sam.

how sweet & unique is this ring from lee?! i am in love. it's so dainty and perfect.

3 weeks ago now, we attended the tenth ave north/rend collective/moriah peters concert.  boy what an overwhelming sense of love for christ and the world did i leave there that night with. it's amazing how god knows just when we are in need of new direction.

as we left i proceeded to tell lee the following things (in no particular order):

1/i wish we could play instruments and call time-out to pick up our instruments to worship jesus and dance a little jig together...all we have is our voices i guess
2/i want everyone to know how much jesus loves them, i want them to know they are beautiful and worth it - it makes me so sad and mad when people do not live for him lee grrrrr
3/i wish that i were irish...i wish that you had an accent
4/ i really want to become better at the memorization of bible verses so that i can spit them out when the situation calls

& that is the reason for this here post, to challenge you to join us in concentrating on one bible verse a week. each sunday lee and i trade off choosing a verse to focus on throughout our week. we remind, quiz, and study the verse so that by the end of the week we no longer have to look to say it - remembering book, verse, chapter and all.

our first week was Romans 8:28 "and in all things God works for the good of those that love him, who are called according to his purpose." (i didn't even have to look to type that - improvement right here!). we have done two more since then and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

hope your week is peachy!
